PAPER PROTOTYPE &
USER TESTING
Understanding Usability
I performed the user testing with 2 people and these are the fixes I found:
-
Sign Up and Log In form should come before asking if the user moves on to ‘Questionnaire’ and ‘Project Board’
-
In ‘Inventory’, it’s easier to tap ‘Remove’, ‘Add to Cart’, and ‘Save’ selections on each items if you hold the item longer and pops up the selections (‘Remove’, ‘Add to Cart’, and ‘Save’) like apple does.
-
It’s better to add ‘assembly help’ section under the cart rather than in item description.
-
Remove the word ‘Edit’ of ‘Edit Around Info’ in Account page and move the section
before ‘My Order’. -
I should change the icon of home and cart icons in the bottom.
-
Through making the details of each screens, I learned some of the elements are unnecessary to achieve the target users needs.
(E.X. My target user is busy urban people so I should't make the platform to fulfill the information of account)
